Patients with headache before traumatic brain injury less likely to have post-traumatic headache

Specialists at the AHS 2022 conference reported on how a history of headache before traumatic brain injury (TBI) may affect post-injury headache features and long-term outcomes.

The researchers from centers in the USA and Japan performed an exploratory analysis of patients with TBI enrolled in the American Registry for Migraine Research (ARMR). They evaluated data from 565 individuals with TBI, of whom 350 had a prior headache diagnosis.
